Chambers and Partners Europe Rankings 2017
Chambers and Partners heeft haar rankings voor 2017 gepubliceerd. Op basis van uitgebreid onafhankelijk en objectief onderzoek, dat zij uitvoert in de markt en onder cliënten, stelt Chambers and Partners jaarlijks een lijst samen van toonaangevende advocatenteams per rechtsgebied.
We presenteren met trots onze behaalde resultaten. In de categorie IT & IT Outsourcing hebben we wederom Band 1 behaald, net als in de categorie Data Protection en Media. Een belangrijke nieuwkomer in de rankings is Peter van den Broek, Peter is door Chambers uitgeroepen als 'Up and Coming'. Fenna van Dijk is gestegen van Band 3 naar Band 2 en Eva Knipschild is van Band 4 opgeschoven naar Band 3.

TMT: Data Protection – Band 1
Outstanding practice covering all aspects of IT, outsourcing, media and data protection. Also handles IT litigation, e-commerce, licensing and litigation. The media practice is particularly experienced in defamation, copyright and internet litigation. Recently the team has acted for several high-profile new clients, including Facebook and Vice Media.

Covers the full scope of insurance services, with expertise in D&O and professional indemnity claims, product recall, as well as personal injury claims among other areas. Has a distinguished national reputation for its representation of clients in the area of employee participation on behalf of both employers and works councils. Other areas of strength include privacy and governance matters. Boasts particular sector expertise in the technology and healthcare sectors.
Healthcare – Band 3
Represents clients in medical liability claims and disciplinary cases, as well as advising health institutions on mergers, joint ventures and investments in the healthcare sector. Recently the firm has also represented clients including healthcare institutions and research institutions on matters including governance codes, structure and compliance.
Intellectual Property – Band 3
Noted for its sector expertise in the technology, life sciences, media, fashion and luxury consumer goods fields. Handles a wide range of both contentious and non-contentious issues concerning trade marks, licensing, trade secrets and copyrights. Gained new clients recently with several new wins in the media, internet and software sectors.
Public Law – Band 3
Compact team with strong public law expertise across several areas of the public sector including administrative law, government liability, subsidies and public orders. Also advises on media regulation, access to public information and supervision and enforcement. Clients include public foundations and watchdogs, administrative bodies, municipalities and private sector companies.
Corporate/M&A – Band 4
Highlighted for its M&A expertise in the technology and health sectors in addition to its broader full-service corporate offering. It is also called upon for advice on cross-border aspects of transactions for international clients. Regularly advises domestic TMT clients on inbound investment matters.
Banking & Finance – Band 5
Handles asset-based lending and investment grade facilities on a domestic and international basis. Acts for Dutch, European and global banks on banking litigation and maintains keen insight into FinTech industries and innovative payment services.
