Profile
Wieger specializes in IT law. He advises both suppliers and customers in IT projects, including in drafting and negotiating various IT contracts. Wieger also litigates in disputes concerning IT contracts, licences, failed IT implementations, and IP infringements of software. In addition, Wieger advises on E-commerce – for example for webshops and online services – and on IT and E-commerce-related privacy problems.
In 2021, Wieger completed the VIRA/Grotius post-graduate specialization course in Information Law (cum laude).
Wieger obtained master’s degrees in Law & Technology and in International Business Law at Tilburg University. During his studies he spent one semester studying at ELTE University in Budapest.
Wieger is a member of Brainport Techlaw, the Netherlands Association for Information Technology and Law (NVvIR), and of the Privacy Law Association (VPR). Besides his work as an attorney, he has helped start-ups and students in solving diverse legal problems via a law incubator program.
