Sustainability
Also within the field of real estate sustainability plays an increasingly large and important role. Not only with regard to the awarding and development of large commercial real estate projects, but also when making residential real estate more sustainable. We are pleased to help our clients taking the next step towards more sustainable real estate.
Our Expertise
Topical developments interest us . We have for instance been involved in the construction of the first circular building in the Netherlands and we have ample experience with BREEAM certification and the EPC, and the impact of various regulations on real estate projects.
Our team also has extensive experience in the improvement of sustainability of residential real estate. For example, we support clients in renovating their real property and making it more sustainable (i.a. that of housing corporations). Examples are large-scale renovation projects such as ‘Safe Heating’ (Veilig Verwarmen) and ‘Create Sustainability Together’ (Samen Verduurzamen).
Our Services
We offer the owners of real estate and real estate developers the right guidance in incorporating sustainability requirements and ambitions into their agreements. This varies from arrangements about the design and use of materials in a construction contract, to a lease in which the sustainable use by the tenant is prescribed. We aim to translate sustainability requirements into workable arrangements for all parties involved.
Furthermore our team offers guidance in renovation projects from beginning to end. We think along on how to give shape to the plan of action and the strategy, but also if clients experience complications in the execution thereof, we support them, if necessary in court. We always keep an eye on combining sustainable solutions with a practical approach.
