Isabel is part of the Commercial & International Trade team. Her practice focusses on Corporate & Commercial disputes at the regular Courts (including Netherlands Commercial Court) or in arbitration. The disputes Isabel frequently deals with regard the interpretation or termination of (long term) relationships. This consists of post-M&A disputes (breach of indemnities/warranties, interpretation of earn-out), disputes between shareholders, termination of long term relationships, breaking off negotiations, and disputes regarding performance or breach of contracts (such as discussions regarding conformity and/or damages).
Isabel has completed the Grotius specialization program on National and International Contract Law cum laude and frequently publishes and speaks about subject related to her practice. She is also board member of the Vereniging voor Distributie-, Franchise- en Agentuurrecht (Association on Distribution, Franchise and Agency law), and member of the Dutch Arbitration Association, de Vereniging Corporate Litigation and the Nederlandse Vereniging voor Procesrecht (Dutch Association on Procedural Law).
