Kennedy Van der Laan has advised LifeNet Health, a global leading non-profit organisation in the field of regenerative biology and biosciences, in its takeover of HCM Medical.
HCM Medical is a Dutch company specialized in the development and manufacturing of innovative implants and tissue solutions for orthopaedic and trauma surgery applications. With its strong expertise in high-quality biomaterials and production processes, for many years HCM Medical has been delivering solutions used by surgeons and hospitals around the world.
By this strategic takeover LifeNet Health expands its presence in Europe and caters for the growing global demand for regenerative biological products. The added knowledge and production facilities of HCM Medical allow LifeNet Health to strengthen its portfolio and further fulfil its mission to scale up access to life-saving and life-improving therapies.
