Profile
Gaby has specific experience in the fields of mergers and acquisitions, private equity, management buy-outs/buy-ins, investments, assets/liabilities transactions, joint ventures and due diligence investigations.
She advises on the drafting and negotiating of purchase and sale contracts. She also advises on the design of corporate structures, including their financing, and issues legal opinions.
She assists both corporate clients and private equity firms in (international) due diligence projects, representing either the buyer or the seller. Gaby also acts as attorney and counsellor for various corporate finance houses, venture capital companies, (private) investors and financial institutions.
Her clients see her as a committed, creative, hands-on, approachable attorney and a valued sparring partner, who not only looks at the legal side of things, but also has a great added value on a strategic level.
Gaby graduated from Utrecht University (in Dutch Private Law), with a major in Corporate Law. She also has a degree in English language and literature and has successfully completed the postgraduate course “Merger and Acquisition” at the VU Law Academy of VU University Amsterdam.
Gaby is a member of the Supervisory Board of Gelukskoffer and the Supervisory Board (Professional Field Committee) of the institute of Corporate and Financial Law of Erasmus University Rotterdam. She is also a member of several (professional) associations, including the Dutch Bar Association, the International Bar Association (M&A Committee), the Corporate Litigation Association, M&A Community, Brookz, and (associate member of) the Dutch Venture Capital Association (Nederlandse Vereniging voor Participatiemaatschappijen).
