Kennedy Van der Laan advises Randoncorp as co-counsel in acquisition of EBS Group

Randoncorp, a Brazilian automotive parts manufacturer, is expanding its international presence and focusing on Europe with the acquisition of the UK-based EBS Group. EBS Group, founded in 1999, is one of the largest independent distributors of braking systems and parts for commercial vehicles in Europe, with operations in the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and China, among others.

For this $72.8 million acquisition, Kennedy Van der Laan assisted English law firm Brodies LLP as co-counsel regarding the Dutch subsidiary of the EBS Group.

With this acquisition, Randoncorp strengthens its position in the European market and takes an important step in its global growth strategy. The acquisition allows Randoncorp to expand its product portfolio and further develop its customer base in the commercial vehicle aftermarket.
