The Body Shop was acquired last summer by Auréa Group, an English investment company. Kennedy Van der Laan's Corporate team advised a consortium of investors led by Auréa Group in this acquisition. The acquisition successfully averted the bankruptcy of the renowned British cosmetics chain, which has existed since 1976.
