The consultancy and construction management agency HEVO acquires the planning developer FAME. By joining forces, they aim to expand their leading position in developing future-oriented residential concepts for people in need of care and support. Under the motto "from residing to living", FAME started developing new alternatives to the traditional nursing and care home over 12 years ago, together with care organisations, corporations and investors.
The new combination enters the residential care market under the HEVO-FAME label. The residential care market is in full swing. The number of people with support needs is rising sharply, partly due to an ageing population. At the same time we see a socialization of care, which creates a need for more differentiation in integral residential concepts. This merger strengthens the companies' multidisciplinary team of developers and increases developmental capacity.
According to Ewoud van der Sluis, president of the board of HEVO, the two organisations share the vision that housing should be people-oriented and circular. ‘FAME is a boost for HEVO by providing additional competencies and a network for development based on its own vision of living with care and well-being.’ Henk Vonk, the director of FAME, adds to this: ‘By joining HEVO and its parent company TBI, FAME is able to focus strongly on knowledge development and innovation as well as growth. New contract forms such as Risk-Bearing Project Management also meet the needs of our market partners, who ask for turnkey solutions.’
In this transaction, Jan-Berend Möller and Ginou van den Berg of Kennedy Van der Laan took care of the legal guidance of HEVO.
