Kennedy Van der Laan advised the shareholders of Andros Clinics on the sale of the company to Xpert Clinics, part of Equipe Zorgbedrijven. The transaction brings together two leading providers of specialised healthcare in the Netherlands and supports the further expansion of high-quality urological care across the country.
Founded in 2004, Andros Clinics is a leading independent provider of urological care in the Netherlands. The company has built a strong reputation as an innovator in urology, particularly in the field of prostate cancer diagnostics, and operates outpatient clinics in Baarn, Arnhem, Amsterdam and Rijswijk.
Xpert Clinics, part of Equipe Zorgbedrijven, is the largest provider of hand and wrist care in the Netherlands and one of the country’s leading providers of orthopaedic care. The acquisition further strengthens Xpert Clinics’ position in urology and enables the expansion of Andros Clinics’ services to additional locations in Alkmaar, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Groningen and Eindhoven.
The combination creates opportunities to further improve patient care, broaden access to specialised urological treatment and continue the development of innovative procedures and outcome-based healthcare. Following completion of the transaction, Andros Clinics’ CEO Domien Debruyne will remain involved in the business to support the further development of urological care within Xpert Clinics.
Kennedy Van der Laan advised the sellers throughout all stages of the transaction, including the structuring, negotiation and execution of the transaction documentation and the successful completion of the deal. This transaction further reinforces Kennedy Van der Laan’s strong track record in the Health & Life Sciences sector and in advising founders and family-owned healthcare businesses on strategic transactions.
