Amsterdam, 24 October 2024 – Janneke Slöetjes joins Kennedy Van der Laan as counsel IE & Media with effect from 1 November.
Janneke has more than 15 years of experience of European legislation and regulation in telecommunications, data protection, copyright, and media regulation. Her expertise is in the ever-increasing regulation of companies and organisation, making her an important sparring partner for Kennedy Van der Laan’s clients. Previously, she worked as director public policy EMEA for Netflix and Vinted, as a legal advisor and lobbyist for digital rights organisation Bits of Freedom, and at the Dutch Media Authority. Prior to that, Janneke spent several years at Kennedy Van der Laan as an IT and privacy lawyer.
