As a (junior) civil-law notary at Kennedy Van der Laan you specialize in corporate law: acquisitions, joint ventures, financings, (re)structuring, and you will handle a lot of international deals, but, of course, also national transactions.

No Separate Civil-Law Notary Department

At Kennedy Van der Laan there is no separate civil-law notary department with notarial lawyers: attorneys and civil-law notaries are working in the same space and cooperate very closely. This guarantees the best result and meanwhile they can learn from each other.

As a (junior) civil-law notary you are involved in a case from A to Z. Therefore, your contribution and knowledge in concluding complex transactions will be fully used. You will also often play a coordinating role in the legal execution of transactions in various countries. Thus, a civil-law notary develops broad expertise: what do the parties really want, and how can you implement their wishes so that the outcome will actually work? This makes the civil-law notary profession more exciting and complete.
