As a member of the Privacy Team, Nicole Wolters Ruckert has been advising clients on a wide range of privacy issues since 2004. Her key areas are cookie and anti-spam laws and the commercial use of personal data, which includes advice on direct marketing, profiling, on-line advertising and big data (analytics).

Her broad clientèle includes leading organizations from the IT, media, online advertising, and telecommunications industry.

Besides giving advice, Nicole regularly writes about the developments in the privacy field on She is also a popular speaker on legal developments in this field.

With her extensive knowledge and many years of experience Nicole can turn complex matters into pragmatic advice, which can be quickly applied in practice. She also assists clients in investigations of the Authority for Consumers and Markets (Autoriteit Consument & Markt) and the Personal Data Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) and guides them through the subsequent legal proceedings.
