Profile
Eylard specializes in employment law. He advises and litigates on various employment-law issues, such as rights and obligations in the event of incapacity for work/illness, amending terms of employment, insourcing and outsourcing of work, and the hiring of flexible labour. His clients include companies, health care institutions and government organizations. Eylard also assists private individuals. He regularly represents judges and public prosecutors, and is therefore familiar with the legal position of judicial officers.
Besides his practice as an attorney, Eylard is also an MfN-registered mediator. In this role, he helps parties find a joint solution in labour disputes. For example in situations where parties disagree on reintegration in the event of incapacity for work/illness, or the substance of a position. The purpose of mediation is that the parties find a solution themselves, so that they do not have to go to court.
Eylard regularly publishes and teaches. He is a member of the Dismissal Law working group of the Employment Law Association and co-author of the book Flexibele Arbeid from the range Monografieën Sociaal Recht.
Eylard completed the post academic employment law course “PALA”. He is a member of the Employment Law Association (Vereniging voor Arbeidsrecht (VvA)), the Dutch Association of Employment Law Attorneys (Vereniging Arbeidsrecht Advocaten Nederland (VAAN)) and the Civil Servants and Law Association (Vereniging Ambtenaar & Recht (VA&R)). As a mediator he is an affiliate of the Mediation Federation Netherlands (MfN).
